“Enthusiastic and exuberant group of singers; glorious joyful sound” – Audience comment, 2014
Following our memorable Christmas 2014 carol concert, Albion return (by popular demand!) to Buxton for another very special performance. This one is late-night, hugely atmospheric, and full of beautiful colours. Our new versions of traditional songs and the beauty of St John’s combine to create a magical experience.
And at this concert we celebrate Albion Ales, created in partnership with the Abbeydale Brewery. A pint of fine real ale* is included in the ticket price, so come and enjoy the timeless combination of music and refreshment…
* Or wine or juice, as you prefer
Scarborough Fair, Early one morning, Wishes, I heard the voice, Oliver Cromwell, Vidi aquam, Jerusalem, Greensleeves
O where shall wisdom be found?, Is my team ploughing?, What shall we do with the drunken sailor?, The Lord’s my shepherd, The Salley Gardens, The Miller of Dee, Invocation, Auld Lang Syne
We're delighted not only to have been reviewed in glowing terms by the Fringe team (fifth one down on that page), but also to have been given the Award for Vocal Performance! That means we'll have to think of something even more exciting for the 2016 Fringe...
